About Sylina Abouzeid, Accredited Practicing Dietitian

Sylina graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Human Nutrition and Masters of Dietetic Practice.

Sylina has both clinical and community experience in chronic disease management, such as diabetes, and cardiovascular disease. She has a special interest in digestive and gut health and has completed additional training with Monash University in the use of low FODMAP diet for managing IBS.

Sylina is passionate about educating and empowering clients with knowledge and skills to achieve practical and sustainable dietary changes. She uses a patient-centred approach, guided by the latest nutrition evidence to tailor dietary recommendations to their specific lifestyle and needs.

Sylina has experience volunteering overseas, where she undertook a Nutrition and Public Health Internship in Fiji, working with the Fijian community to help educate and treat patients with diabetes.

About Kyle Haddad, Physiotherapist

Kyle graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Biomedical Science and Master of Physiotherapy Practice, where he achieved the highest average mark in his graduating cohort. Kyle has gained experience working with individuals of all ages across multiple clinical environments in metropolitan and regional areas.

Kyle’s interest in the structure and function of the human body originates from his love for sports and gym training. From a young age, Kyle participated heavily in numerous sports and has a unique background in martial arts where he competed at state level as well as coached athletes. 

Along with his work in private practice, Kyle is a physiotherapist at Melbourne Victory Football Club, working across the women teams. He has experience travelling interstate with the club as part of his duties.  Kyle is also a casual academic at La Trobe University, teaching into the physiotherapy course. 

Kyle is an accredited GLA:D physiotherapist – managing hip and knee osteoarthritis and has qualifications in dry needling. He also has completed additional training in managing hip, ankle, shoulder and spinal pain.

Kyle enjoys building strong relations with clients and has a special interest in treating non-op and post-op injuries affecting the shoulder, lower limb and spine. He employs a comprehensive approach, integrating manual therapies with key strength and conditioning principles to optimise treatment outcomes.

About Gaaya Manohararajan, Pelvic Health Physiotherapist

Gaaya completed her Master of Physiotherapy at La Trobe University, establishing a strong foundation in her field. She has since worked in private practice, where she has gained experience in treating a diverse range of pelvic health conditions affecting both men and women.

Gaaya’s specific interests lie in women’s health, pregnancy and postpartum related conditions, as well as treating bladder and bowel dysfunctions. She is dedicated to providing individually tailored treatment plans that prioritise the best care with integrity and empathy.

Gaaya is passionate about promoting complete well-being and believes in the power of exercise and education to empower women in managing their conditions throughout different life stages.

Beyond her professional commitments, Gaaya finds joy in spending time with friends and family, exploring different cultural cuisines. She also maintains her own well-being engaging in strength training at the gym, embracing a holistic approach to health and wellness.
